Mann Travels 27th Annual Cruise Show

According to the latest research, travelers will be taking more and longer trips in 2010 - and the special deals and great value are still available.
The largest travel show in the Carolinas is the best place to search for a 2010 vacation. The event, Sunday, January 24th at the Charlotte Convention Center, is the 27th Annual Show hosted by Mann Travels. Representatives from all the major cruise lines, travel companies and tourism boards will be available to help consumers sort out the best deals and make the most of this year’s vacation.
This year’s show highlights all the irresistible vacation deals available for travelers in this area. “We want everyone to come and shop for their much deserved vacation at this show,” says Gary Silverstein, Mann Travels owner. “Now is the time to capitalize on the current great deals.”
Admission is free to the January 24th expo and it will give travelers a chance to research destinations and deals, as well as win prizes and see packing demonstrations. “It’s one stop shopping,” explains Silverstein, “you can talk to travel industry reps, decide where you want to go and then book your vacation with one of our experienced agents.”
Seminars are an annual highlight at the travel show. Popular topics returning this year include “The Do’s and Don’ts of Cruising,” “A Peek at the newest ship in the Royal Caribbean Fleet – The OASIS” and “Packing Demonstrations with Sharon Luggage.”
New this year are seminars entitled: “The Insider’s Guide to Booking Your Disney Vacation,” “The All-Inclusive Vacation – Is it Right for You?” and “Introducing Universal Studios New Wizarding World of Harry Potter.” And, as a special highlight, European Tour Guide, Lynda Lea D’Amico will be on hand to highlight her 24 years of experiences in Western Europe.
The event runs from 11am-4pm. Mann Travels is urging attendees to ride the light rail.
